Abstract: The Vietnamese economy has been growing at more than 7% per annum for the past four years, with the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) reaching USD 45 billion in 2004.The Ministry of Trade reported a seven-year high in total merchandise exports reaching USD 26.5 billion last year, which is a 29% increase compared to 2003.
