Abstract: Demand for energy in Thailand has increased tremendously over the years. From 1999 to 2003, gasoline consumption nationwide increased from 7,024 million litres to 7,632 million litres while diesel consumption increased at an even faster pace, from 15,303 million litres to 17,562 million litres.
