Abstract: US farmers are adding storage capacity this season as they prepare to harvest near record crops of both corn and soybeans in the coming months (Oct/Nov). Following a slow start to plantings, seasonal conditions have been favorable in August, and yield and production expectations have risen accordingly. Rabobank sees this as bearish news for both corn and soybean prices with inventory levels of both crops set to increase in the 2009/10 season.
