Abstract: In 2005, Vietnam imported about 85% to 90% of dairy products worth USD 307 million, which is an increase of 50.5% compared with 2004.The country currently has just a few dairy food players and there is still plenty of room for long-term niche players. The dairy industry is expected to continue growing at a steady rate of 8% to 11% a year in the medium term.
