Abstract: Agricultural commodity prices, which had been soaring upwards during the 18 months leading up to the summer of 2008, reached historic peaks in the beginning of the year.
The reasons behind the commodity price increases have been discussed extensively in other reports. Since the summer, the agricultural commodity prices have taken a free fall.
