Abstract: Argentina’s overall economic growth has been outstanding, with gross domestic product (GDP) growth of 12 percent during 2006 and an estimated increase of 12 percent year-over-year (YOY) during the first half of 2007.The higher economic growth is explained by increased production and exports of mostly automotives, steel products and the boom in the real estate sector, which has pushed up construction inputs.
