Abstract: The Avian Influenza (AI) H5 virus has been raging as an epidemic in many Asian countries including Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand since 2004 and other countries in the region have felt its impact: Japan, North and South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Pakistan.
