Abstract: In the period between mid August and the end of September four hurricanes hit Florida’s orange production and the Frozen Concentrate Orange Juice (FCOJ) industry. Charley, Frances, Jeanne and Ivan left a devastating trail across the Sunshine state. The USDA has estimated that state-wide orange production will drop to 176 million 90-pound boxes.
